Day 1 | An English-speaking guide, a cook and a driver will greet you at the airport and you will start to explore the spectacular landscape of western Mongolia and drive to the White River Ranger Station, Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Nature is amazing, and you can do amazing natural photography and watch different birds. You will explore high beautiful mountains, pure rivers and even it is offroad driving, you will enjoy the green landscape of western Mongolia. Day 2 | After breakfast with your local tour team, your trekking experience in Altai Tavan Bogd NP will start just right after you pack camping gears on your pack camels. It is going to be an opportunity to explore western Mongolia just like local nomads migrating place to place depending on the seasons. As you get closer to the Altai mountains, you are very surprised by the beauty of nature and how stunning the mountains are. Day 3 | This is a day to climb to the Malchin Peak, one of the highest Peaks of Altai Tavan Bogd which doesn’t require special equipment. However, you need good trekking poles because the rocky road has a lot of loose rocks and sand. So be careful while ascending it. Climbing takes around 6-7 hours for a group of average speed. Weather conditions change drastically as you rise to 3500 meters. When the wind speed reaches 9 m/s or greater, climbing is forbidden. | Tent, Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner |
Day 4 | Our trekking journey continuous to Oygor Ranger Station. It is going to be 4 hours of trekking back to the Ranger Station. Spend a night nearby Kazakh families. | Tent, Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner |
Day 5 | We drive to Oygor to see numerous rock carvings and funerary monuments found in these three sites illustrate the development of culture in Mongolia over a period of 12,000 years. The earliest images reflect a time (11,000 – 6,000 BC) when the area was partly forested and the valley provided a habitat for hunters of large game. We will have lunch nearby.
